She jumped from a balcony to escape attackers. They then left with 50 pairs of her Nikes

A Pierce County woman was forced to jump off a second-story balcony to escape three people who forced their way into her apartment, beat her and stole 50 pairs of collector Nike Air Jordans.

The victim’s ex-boyfriend knocked on her door Jan. 19 and asked her for money.

She said no.

Her ex-boyfriend then called his 18-year-old cousin and 25-year-old girlfriend into the home and demanded the victim give them her purse and debit card.

The victim again said no.

That’s when Omari Steele, 25, allegedly ordered the two women to assault his ex-girlfriend and not let her out of the apartment.

“The female suspects stomped on the victim, and the male suspect dragged her by her hair before the victim was able to escape by jumping from a second-story balcony,” according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

After the victim escaped and ran for help, Steele and the two women stole more than 50 pairs of Nike Air Jordan shoes from the victim’s shoe collection, which is valued at $2,500.

Warrants have been issued for Steele, his cousin Z’jamayla Monae Steele and his girlfriend Emmanuella “Ella” Heloria Charles.

All three are wanted for first-degree burglary, first-degree kidnapping and second-degree robbery.

Omari Steele and Charles used to live in Tacoma and may be staying in the Seattle area.

Steele is described as a black man, 5-feet-11 and 160 pounds with black hair and black eyes.

Z’jamayla Steele is black, 5-feet-6 and 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Charles is black, 5-feet-8 and 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Tacoma-Pierce County Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
