Moving company relocates to Sumner, bringing 60 jobs with it

A moving company has announced a relocation from Kent to Sumner.

Ace Relocation Systems brings about 60 employees to a larger facility on Puyallup Street, beside wood-manufacturer Pasquier Panel Products.

“We had outgrown our previous facility and wanted to consolidate all of our services into one state-of-the-art location,” Larry Lammers, Ace President/CEO, said in a news release announcing the move.

The Sumner facility offers more than 52,000 square feet of warehouse space and includes security cameras, weather-sealed doors and barcode labeling to track customers’ belongings, according to the news release.

“Along with packing and moving, Ace’s nine locations come equipped with advanced warehouse facilities, which provide a clean, safe and affordable location for storing customers’ possessions before, during or after their move,” the company said. “Items can be stored for days, weeks or as long as needed and are both picked up and delivered by Ace’s specially trained personnel. “

Ace Relocation Systems is family-owned and based in San Diego. The company has been in Kent for the last 21 years.
